Healing Hands: Medical Outreach for Vulnerable Families in Abia state

Providing life-saving medical care, screenings, and treatment for vulnerable widows, children, and elderly individuals in underserved communities across Akwa Ibom State.

Access to healthcare remains a serious challenge for many low-income families in rural communities across Abia State, Nigeria. Widows, elderly individuals, and children often go months or years without seeing a doctor because they cannot afford medical care.

The Healing Hands Medical Outreach will bring a full team of volunteer doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and health professionals directly to Amaegbuato Nkpa Community, Bende LGA. Abia State.

Through this campaign, Grace Givers Foundation aims to provide:

  • Free medical consultations and treatment

  • Essential medications for common illnesses

  • Maternal and child health screenings

  • Blood pressure, diabetes, and malaria testing

  • Health education and preventive care

  • Referrals for critical cases needing further treatment

The outreach will serve over 2,000 vulnerable individuals, including widows, orphaned children, and elderly residents.

The $50,000 campaign goal will cover:

  • Medical supplies and medications

  • Diagnostic testing kits

  • Mobile clinic setup and logistics

  • Transportation for medical volunteers

  • Follow-up care for critical patients

This initiative ensures that vulnerable families receive the care they deserve, restoring health, dignity, and hope.
